Ravensdown Napier Fire Recovery Project..

Last week Ravensdown restarted their Napier superphosphate manufacturing following a fire which damaged key manufacturing equipment late in 2022. It has been a pleasure to lead an integrated project team with people from Artifex Engineering Limited, Worley, Beca and the knowledgeable and dedicated site operations and maintenance teams to develop and deliver a recovery project to make the plant operational once again. This was achieved without injury despite the condition of the plant after the fire and the most appalling summer weather in more than a generation. This couldn’t have been done without the support of a large group of contractors who worked tirelessly and safely throughout the recovery
